The
Great White Shark is the largest and most fearsome creature which is found in
coastal and offshore waters which have water temperature between 12 and 24 °C.
And it is ranked first in a list of number of recorded attacks on humans.
The Great White Shark has a robust large conical snout. The upper and lower lobes on the tail fin are approximately the same size. Great white sharks, like many other sharks, have rows of serrated teeth behind the main ones, ready to replace any that break off. When the shark bites it shakes its head side to side, helping the teeth saw off large chunks of flesh.
A mature males reach at least 3.5-4.5 miters and females are at about 4.5 - 5.0 miters and females are normally larger than males. They have slate-gray upper bodies to blend in with the rocky coastal sea floor, but get their name from their universally white underbellies. They are streamlined, torpedo-shaped swimmers with powerful tails that can propel them through the water at speeds of up to 15 miles (24 kilometers) per hour. They can even leave the water completely, breaching like whales when attacking prey from underneath.
The Great White Sharks are generally carnivorous and depend on Fish, Cetaceans, Sea turtles, Seabirds etc.
